PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

I have had fabulous commissions and opportunities both as a consulting architect and as founder of three firms located in Washington DC, the Philippines, and currently on the North Shore of Chicago. I have a national practice created by the referrals and recognition by my clients, associates, and building professionals.

I am value-oriented, creating both cost-effective and wonderful places and solutions. I enjoy a special recognition for my work with historic buildings and districts due my sensitivity to place, the building, and techniques. But those strengths are utilized throughout my varied practice. In my current firm I have limited my project types to custom residential and historic properties, for my own enjoyment and the number of current projects to ten, to properly serve my clients.

I am passionate about empowering the client, creating excellence, and providing value. I am a listener, facilitator, problem-solver, and team builder that has applied my professional skills to create win-win solutions for individuals, companies, and communities. While Chairman of my local Historic Preservation Commission, the State recognized us as the the most effective commission in Illinois.
